Head of FRWO issued a message on the Occasion of the NGOs and Social Participation Day.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Masoud Mansour, in a message on the occasion of the NGOs and Social Participation Day, on the 13^th August (22 Mordad), while appreciating the participation of different strata in the protection and restoration of natural resources, he congratulated the members of non-governmental organizations and social activists on this occasion. The text of the message is as follows:

In the name of God

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Social Participation Day is an excuse to promote the culture of participation and active presence of the people in the form of non-governmental organizations.

The active participation of the people leads to adoption of the rational approach to decision making and thus to the efficiency and effectiveness results. Participation increases public trust, reduces tensions, and limits future challenges by enhancing stakeholder participation in national arena and greater stakeholder ownership.

The Forests, Range  and Watershed management Organization (FRWO), while understanding the importance of the presence and participation of individuals in the management of natural resources, has targeted institutionalization and support for the development of non-governmental organizations and, thanks to God, valuable achievements have been achieved.

While commemorating the memory of the service devotees, dear ones who sincerely sacrificed their lives and some were injured in order to extinguish the fires of the forests and rangelands of the country, I congratulate all social activists, non-governmental organizations, and I appreciate the sincere actions and efforts of all these dear ones in empowering the society and protecting the natural resources. I hope that through constructive interaction between the Government and non-governmental organizations, the ground can be prepared for more participation of people and organisations in advancing affairs.
